This is the last of the rabbit tobacco crop from Middle Georgia..... it lasted me a good 1.5 years. What I gather from my farm friend is that the field near her home was clear cut early this year and alas, all the Life Everlasting aka Rabbit Tobacco. California has a close cousin called Wright's Cudweed but, it's not half as sweet smelling as this Southern variety.
