Heard about this tea hiking the back roads on Yavapai-Apache Nation lands. White folks call this Mormon Tea. It's a stimulant and decongestant related to Chinese ephedra. Leftover resinous bits from the tea make a great topical hemostatic. Also listed as a blood purifier by Cahuilla people.
